Sometimes getting a Physical copy may not be the end of the conversation. Sure there are variants out there with “Greatest Hits” and reprints but how do you know which version to pick up that gets you all of the additional physical goodies that you crave? Let’s get right to it with our first title, Forager.
Forager is a wonderful and relaxing 2-D crafting simulator. You start out with a plot of land and start to acquire resources to build various structures that assist you in expanding your empire within a very satisfying gameplay loop. Developed by HopFrog, this title has become very successful for the developer, and rumored to be working on a sequel.
So what’s inside? Retailing for $29.99, this physical release comes with two extra bits included only with the North American release for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4:

These 5 Decals from Controller gear look great! Made in the USA, these are a neat little bonus to include inside the package.
1 Single-sided folded poster which features key artwork and characters from Forager.
The poster is very beautiful and full of bright pastel colors. It does come folded up and placed inside of the game case.
The inside sheet of the case just has the limited warranty information and is otherwise just plain white. Some additional artwork would have been nice to see, but the poster and decals make up for this. There is no physical instruction manual included, that would have been cool to see instructions on the reverse side of the poster.
Overall Forager is an exceptional indie game that you should definitely consider adding to your physical collection. Forager was released in a physical format at most major retailers in North America. If purchasing used, make sure that these two Extra Bits are included with your purchase!
